Daily Sketches

There will be more daily sketches again soon. I've not been lazy and I am still gathering words. I am actually up and drawing from the time I go to work, and then in the evening when I come home. I have an ABUNDANCE of projects to get completed in the next couple of weeks. One of them is a book that I am very excited to complete.

#23 - FiNoosh

FiNoosh is a young, curious norwale. I feel like there is a story there, it just hasn't revealed itself to me yet. It will probably do so in future doodles.

...and....siiiiggggghhhh....

I can't seem to draw tonight. Try as I may, try as I might, I just can't seem to draw anything tonight. I have words words words galore... *sigh* ... Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Missed Post

Well, I passed out on the couch last night and missed doodle #23! Doodle #23 isn't too happy with me right now. :( I think it will forgive me though, as I will post it tonight. :)

#22 - Prapply

The word "Prapply" from Elizabeth.

It is in the disappearing Prapply Fur (not to be confused with Fir... these trees are made of fur) trees that the Frigglers find their homes. These fur trees keep the Frigglers cozy and warm in the harsh climate of the north. As these trees vanish, the Frigglers are forced to steal the fabric of explorers to make the clothing that keep their faces, toes and fingers warm.

#21 - ZaNafaa Kunu

"ZaNafaa Kunu" - submitted by Jennifer.

ZaNafaa Kunu is a young boy who has learned to speak the language of the zebra. Every morning he wakes before the dawn and paints his face in stripes and spends his days traveling with the herd. Through traveling with the zebra, ZaNafaa Kunu learns much about the natural world and the cycles of nature.

#20 - Nooooooooooooooes!!!!!

The "Nooooooooooes!!!!" warns me when I am about to miss a deadline... he he... like I almost did tonight with my daily doodle. Oops. :P Thanks little guy!

#19 - Helalopter

Mychal's second word is "Helalopter". The HelaLOPter has multiple ways to get around for a rabbit. :P

#18 - Piffle

(This isn't the greatest picture. I am out of town and using what I have available. I will post a better quality image tomorrow when I return!)

The word "Piffle" is submitted by my mom, Vicki. Piffle is a fairy with very delicate wings. Even the slightest breeze, like a small sigh, can send her toppling many feet away. Fortunately, she is very good at using these drafts to her advantage.

#17 - Snaffle

The word "Snaffle" is submitted by Curtis.

A "Snaffle" is a type of elephant with a longer than usual trunk. A much much much much longer than usual trunk. It is so long that he frequently gets tangled up in it. Poor Snaffle. Who will help him get untangled?

#16 - JAPAMM!!!!

Mychal submitted the word "Japamm", only when she said it she said it like "JAPAMMMMM!" ...So that added some driving force behind this sketch. She said she used it when describing a color she created for the first time.

This is Japamm, or perhaps she has another name and what she does is called JAPAMMING or the color she just created is JAPAMM! Whoever she is, she is the creator of colors. She HAMMERS them into existence, and her mallet is getting worn. Once she hits a certain number of new colors she gets a golden mallet. But she doesn't know how many that is and is forever hammering away in eager anticipation. I wonder what she will create with a golden one?

#15 - Glombi

Debrin submitted the word "Glombi." Glombi is a ghost, the ghost of a beloved doll that was laid to rest in a childhood long ago.

#14 - Flibbet

Jessica submitted the word "Flibbet." Flibbet is a little tiny baby dragon. I think he emerged because Jessica has little ones of her own and Flibbet seems like a good companion. :) *baby raar*

#13 - Moogit

Jaime's word is "Moogit"

Farmer Bill had a problem. He knew that his cows were up to something. Every morning, there would be fresh cow tracks all over his front yard. What farmer Bill didn't know was that his cows were trying to help him. Bill was world famous for inventing new dance moves, or at least he was. He started the 1970's craze called the "Chicken", the 1980's sensation called the "Pig", and the 1990's wonder called the "Horse." The trouble was that he has nothing for the 2000's and the decade was nearly over! And now he had cow trouble! Hoof prints and mysterious notes that read "Moogit - the cows". If only he could have seen them dance.. and realized that the hoof prints were the directions to what could be his newest sensation. Oh well.

"I like to moogit moogit... MOOGIT"

Congratulations, Greg! You submitted the first nonsensical word that made me go "What the..." And then my roommate, Jessica, said "lufa makes me think loofa...like those loofa sponge things you wash with..."

Bulufapotamas looks a little frightened, don't you think? Maybe it is because he knows what you are about to do with him and that bottle of body wash. Poor Bulufapotamas.
